WOMEN’S ISSUES, ANXIETY & TRAUMA

Oftentimes, there is a presenting issue- a problem, a pattern, an anticipation, a worry- that brings someone to counseling. Maybe you’re feeling stuck or noticing repeated and challenging emotions throughout your day. It can be hard to manage the day to day tasks of adulthood, relationships, parenting, your career, and your family life, while also maintaining a sense of self and peace. Maybe you’re deep in the trenches of motherhood, longing to become a mother, or grieving a loss or aspects of your own childhood.

Trauma or painful experiences have a way of blocking the path to the life we want for ourselves.

Together, we can work to navigate those barriers.

I once had a mentor tell me that all we have is our story, how we feel about it, and what it has meant to us. Your story is a powerful one and you are more than what has happened to you. You get to hold onto any lessons learned or perspectives gained, and then set down the rest. Your story matters here- I’d love to help you carry and process yours.
